Ascenty launches the first Oracle Solution Center Satellite Site in Latin America

The facility will help customers design, architect, and validate Oracle Cloud solutions.

Ascenty, an Oracle partner providing data center and connectivity services in Latin America, today announced the launch of the region’s first Oracle Solution Center (OSC) satellite site as part of Oracle Customer Success Services. Hosted at its data center in Vinhedo, São Paulo, the OSC facility will enable customers to design, architect, and validate their Oracle Cloud solutions in a secure, scalable, and interoperable environment. Ascenty is a joint venture between Digital Realty and Brookfield Infrastructure, and this initiative reinforces the company’s commitment to supporting high-performance hybrid environments, with a focus on innovation, integration, and customer proximity.

As part of Oracle Customer Success Services, the OSC satellite site was designed to help customers quickly validate architecture and improve the performance of workloads spanning on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments. It serves as an extension of OSC units in São Paulo and Mexico City, enabling tests and demonstrations with lower latency and better alignment to customer scenarios.

“Our goal with this initiative is to contribute what Ascenty does best: provide low latency, high availability, high-quality infrastructure, and exceptional service to maintain business continuity,” says João Walter, Director of Products, Solutions, and Edge Strategies at Ascenty. “We are committed to delivering connected infrastructure that can quickly respond to customers’ constantly evolving demands.”

The site’s infrastructure includes Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer, which brings the automation and cloud consumption model of the Exadata Database Service, as well as the fully managed Oracle Autonomous Database on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) within an organization’s data centers. It also incorporates unique optimizations that allow Oracle Database workloads to run faster, with less management and lower costs, enabling organizations to extract more value from their data.

In the coming months, the facility is expected to expand to include Oracle Compute Cloud@Customer, a fully managed distributed cloud platform at rack scale, which allows organizations to run applications, virtual machines, and containers on-premises with the same experience as Oracle’s public cloud. The addition of a GPU expansion rack is also planned, designed to support high-performance workloads such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics. This infrastructure will enable the deployment of large-scale accelerated workloads directly within local data centers.

Simplified connectivity via ServiceFabric®

All communication between on-premises environments and OCI is enabled by ServiceFabric®, Digital Realty’s global orchestration platform, delivered in Brazil by Ascenty. The solution provides secure, low-latency, high-availability connectivity to multiple cloud providers and telecommunications carriers in a fully carrier-neutral model.

“Oracle Solution Centers have a wide range of specialists and expertise to help customers reduce complexity, incorporate industry best practices, and support all deployment models and workloads,” says João Paulo Lunardelli, Head of LAD, Oracle Solution Center, Customer Success Services. “Our services are geared toward shortening customers’ decision cycles, reducing time to market, and accelerating architecture and go-live decisions. By partnering with Ascenty on this satellite site, we can help customers simplify their cloud journey.”

The project is part of Oracle’s broader regional expansion strategy, with new satellite sites planned for Argentina, Chile, Colombia, and Costa Rica.
